Sweet goodness! It's fall! What do you know. The seasons always change so subtly, with so much mystery and grace and flow. What do you love most about the seasonal shifts? Do you have any sensual memories this time of year? Perhaps the drift of the breeze and the smells bring you emotions you almost forgot about. I know they do, for me. It feels so good to receive this unconditional love from Mother Nature. She is so loving.
We are collecting and saving our seeds from pawpaws, apples, pears, cherries even tropical fruits because it's important to save seeds. We are stratifying a few dozen sweet cherry seeds in our freezer right now, and soon will be doing the same with the pawpaws and others.
Though we are going to be starting these plants next spring, we are really focusing in on receiving plants that already are a few years old and can be planted and begin to be producing fruits within the next few years.
We are in the planning stages of creating a kickstarter campaign and video that you can watch so you can learn more about what the Blueberry Project wants to do and how you can help us do it!
Do you want to be a steward of a fruit tree for your neighborhood?
Do you want to see more fruit trees growing, seemingly wild, close to home?
Do you think the cost of fresh, organic produce is ridiculous?
If so, stay tuned to what we are sharing so we can help you make this a reality!
We all know we need to plant more trees, because they help us breathe and give us shelter and tons of other things. So if you are going to plant a tree, why not plant a fruit tree?
